Days 47-53: Protection

Protection
When you’re a parent, you want to do everything you can to protect your kids. Part of what we have been learning is that we can do everything we think is right or necessary to protect our children and sometimes they still end up sick or hurt. I’m learning that it doesn’t matter if you choose to vaccinate or not vaccinate or avoid crowds and germs or wash your hands a million times a day. If God has chosen a path of sickness for you, you will get sick. The problem isn’t in doing things like washing hands and vaccinating (or not) to avoid sickness. It’s when we trust in those things above trusting in God that we get in trouble.
