Pointing toward the auditorium door after the morning gathering, a dear child of God said, “Pastor, we saw all kinds of answered prayer in there today!” And she was right!
Do you attend your various church ministries with a faith-filled attitude of expectant prayer? God is able (2 Corinthians 9:8), and God is faithful (1 Corinthians 1:9), and He responds to the prayers of His people (Psalm 34:17; Proverbs 15:29; Jeremiah 33:3; Matthew 7:7; John 16:23-24).
May I encourage you to pray much for the power of God to fall in your church gatherings (Acts 4:31-32)?
May I exhort you to pray in believing prayer for the unsaved in attendance to be brought to believing faith in Christ, transformed by the grace of God (1 Thessalonians 1:5-10)?
May I beg you to pray for revival? Oh, how our churches need a fresh encounter of the Holy Spirit that leads us to place the preeminence upon Christ wherein God is glorified. Also, where dead formalism and fear of man is exchanged for Spirit-led worship which points to Christ and believers are expressing “that’s what it will be like in heaven” joy! (Psalms 85:6; 100:1-5; 145:1-6; 150:1-6; Colossians 1:15-19; 1 Timothy 2:8).
What prayers did you see answered yesterday at your church gatherings?
