Monday’s Ministry Encouragement: Written to encourage you, my friend in ministry, to be refreshed and renewed as we live for Christ and look toward the Bema.

The Lord seems to send him along at a most needful time.
Twenty years ago, he drove all the way to Atlanta, Georgia, to the hospice house to minister to us when my dad was dying with cancer.
Here and there, he sends an online note of encouragement that always comes at the right time.
Yesterday (Sunday), he showed up for the morning gathering. I had not noticed him in attendance due to him being seated near the back of the auditorium.
At the conclusion of the service, he came forward to pray. I went over to meet with him and in moments he said with a large grin on his face, “I’ve put a bag full of gifts in the office for you.” In the bag were purposefully selected items that revealed the heart of this man who came to worship God and encourage his brother in Christ!
Ministry friend, the Lord knows your need and the burden of your heart. He hears your cries when you are low in spirit or just in need of a friendly, encouraging touch. You may not need it today, but . . . you will.
For he (God) satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things (Psalm 107:9).
With your eyes and heart fixed on the Lord, be on the lookout. Your Heavenly Father knows what you need and when you need it (Matthew 6:8, 32-33). Onesiphorus may be seated in the gathering next Sunday (2 Timothy 1:16)!
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You (Psalm 63:3).
Thanks for your encouraging words each week. You happen to be the Onesiphorous who came in the form of an email this morning. Love ya my brother!!
Hey John and Carol!! As always, so good to hear from you. When I do, I see two glowing, smiling Christlike countenances that are a refreshment to my soul! Thank you for your encouraging words! Love y’all, too!!
