Raised in the south, I have a passionate love for the Lord, my wife of 41 years, my three daughters, my five grandchildren, the empty nest, preaching the Word of God, pastoring people, discipleship, the University of Kentucky Wildcats (basketball) and Clemson Tigers (football), running the country roads and the Tweetsie Trail, and hiking these awesome TN/NC mountains!! For 22 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Lord at Boones Creek Bible Church, Johnson City, Tennessee. This blog covers the things I love about life and ministry which are one in the same.

Thank you so much for taking the time to blog. This has been such an encouragement. We love and miss you and your family, but we will see you soon.
What is your name and where are you pastor? You might want to tell us some basics on the about page.
Thanks for the input. This is a work in progress. Keep on keeping on!
Like your page – after Christmas blahs -Seven Ways to Live the Day after Christmas. I was having a boring day – maybe letdown and googled and found your article and traced to this page. I am sharing on my FB Thots’ and Meditations. Wish you were on Facebook. Shalom and have a blessed New Year ! https://www.facebook.com/ThotsAndMeditations…

I appreciate and love you, brother Dale. I hope to see you again sometime in the future. Thank you for your encouraging words. I always look forward to hearing your life changing wisdom and the true word of God. Thanks again, an old high school buddy, David A. in Columbia, SC.
Thank you, David! I am so grateful that we have been able to reconnect after so many years. Likewise, I’m looking forward to the next time we can get together. In the meantime, be assured of my prayers for you. Also, I’ll be keeping up with you on social media. Thank you for reading, and again thank you for your comments.
