Pastor friend, what’s your “WOW” today?
It could have happened this morning, yesterday, this past weekend or just five minutes ago. It doesn’t have to be some “fireworks” moment, although it may be, but just where you saw God at work, and you could say, “Wow! God is so very good!”

Such was the case last Saturday while hiking with a group of men from our church. We were coming down from Table Rock summit on the east rim of the Linville Gorge (NC). One of the guys in our group struck up a conversation with three overnight backpackers passing by. I was already engaged in a conversation with other hikers on the trail trying to answer their questions. As I turned, one of the threesome was looking right me with this “I know you look.” Wow! Out in the middle of nowhere . . . there stands my 2nd cousin from WV!!!! Have mercy!!! Way cool!!! We had just seen each other two months ago at his grandfather’s (my uncle’s) 95th birthday celebration! Wow!!

The day had already been rich with blessings . . . just being with the men of our church, Ben receiving clearance from his heart doctor to hike again, all of us singing “How Great Thou Art” up on Hawksbill, the awesome display of God’s creation, the eyes to take it all in, and the voice to lift up His praise and share in worship with the other men!!
And then on top of it all, the awesome additional blessing of running into family!! Oh, the goodness of God!! Wow!! Just wow!! Thank You, Lord!!!

Ok, pastor, how about adding your “Wow” in the comments section below? Let’s praise our God together!!
Psalm 145:1-10
I will extol You, my God, O King;
And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
2 Every day I will bless You,
And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
3 Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.
4 One generation shall praise Your works to another,
And shall declare Your mighty acts.
5 I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty,
And on Your wondrous works.
6 Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts,
And I will declare Your greatness.
7 They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness,
And shall sing of Your righteousness.
8 The Lord is gracious and full of compassion,
Slow to anger and great in mercy.
9 The Lord is good to all,
And His tender mercies are over all His works.
10 All Your works shall praise You, O Lord,
And Your saints shall bless You.
